So, I decided to download the Sims. Make a family? Follow them through the generations? No. I opted to evict all Sims-original characters and create an entire town of characters from a certain television show I have long enjoyed, to see them interact in human form.

Welcome to the cozy town of Warner Brothers Studios. Let's see what the residents have been up to...

Pesto hung around in Slappy Squirrel's front yard knocking over her trash can for about three hours early one morning. In the top left corner, you can see poor innocent Skippy wallowing in confusion. Eventually, Slappy came outside and handled the situation with her trademark grace.

Pesto's brother Bobby had quite the night: he got arrested, and stood around striking poses to show his displeasure.

Rita and Runt hung out in somebody else's backyard, and Runt randomly burst into song. It's just like the show!

Rita and Runt cuddling on a park bench... is not very like the show. I tried to get them to LIVE on a park bench, but the game would have none of it. I ended up having to build them a shack to live in. I guess homeless people just aren't cool enough for the Sims.

Wakko Warner enjoyed a nice meal on the toilet while wearing his tuxedo.

Pinky hung around in front of the City Hall reading all night and all day. I'm surprised he had the attention span.

Pinky, once he was done reading, kept hanging out in front of City Hall, just being a champion.

BRAIN. WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR HAIR? WHAT ARE YOU WEARING? THIS IS ALL SO WRONG.

Good Idea: going for a run for exercise. Bad Idea: running into traffic without looking. I was disappointed when Mr. Skullhead wasn't hit by a car.

I moved the Ka-Booms into their new home, and within six seconds or so, they were all miserable. Young Tinker cowered behind his sister Katie, imagining her as some horrible arm-waving gorilla as she cooked herself a late-night snack.

Skippy went to hang out at Mindy's house, but ended up talking to her father instead. It's odd, her father's head is not visible.

Mindy's family's computer was literally smoking. (Circled: a spark.) I figured this would be a job for Buttons, being the only competent member of the household, but he was busy sitting by himself looking inconsolably depressed.

Meanwhile, Aunt Slappy was out shopping. Hoping to kick-start a little interaction, I told her to greet the Mime. It led to Slappy chewing the poor guy out, probably just for being a mime, and him cowering from her wrath but unable to flee.

But what about the Warners themselves, you say? Well... they were acting kind of... odd. Yakko spent the evening having a lively conversation with the corner, Wakko was hard at work, and Dot was sitting quietly by herself, not seeking to be adored or admired by anybody. Very odd indeed.

Scratchansniff, though, took the odd prize for standing around in the doorway of an empty, unfurnished house in scrubs for almost the entire night.

Him and the Warner siblings were the first ones I made, so it's possible I did something wrong and will have to redo them. We'll see.

So that's what's happening in the cozy town of Warner Brothers Studios. There are other characters wandering about, including Mr. Director, Thaddeus Plotz, Minerva Mink, the Hip Hippos, Hello Nurse, and a few others. I'll catch up with their shenanigans in future post.
